Durham Region COVID-19 Executive Table

The mandate of the Durham Region COVID-19 Executive Team is to provide leadership, joint accountability and oversight, to facilitate the implementation of a coordinated regional response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, which provides screening, assessment and the right care in the right place, at the right time.

The Executive Table provides strategic direction, oversee and support the work of developed Working Groups, informed and guided by Ontario Health, Ministry Emergency Operations Centre, Ministry of Health, Public Health Ontario and the Chief Medical Officer of Health.

The Executive Table is responsible for:

Develop and provide leadership, joint accountability and oversight to a regional coordinated phased response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, which is in alignment with direction provided by Ontario Health, Ministry Emergency Operations Centre, Ministry of Health, Public Health Ontario and the Chief Medical Officer of Health
Collaborate and coordinate between multiple system partners and subgroups

Prepare and implement an overall communications/engagement plan
Submission of proposals and information to Ontario Health and the Ministry of Health (MOH) as required and requested
Feeds system intelligence up to the East Region COVID-19 Steering Committee and responds to requests from the East Region Steering Committee
